UMRAH VISAS FOR AGENCIES
Depending on the pilgrim's nationality and your agency's access, the application goes through the eVisa, through Nusuk or Masar, or through your visa partner. In all three cases, the information comes from the file and the visa returns to it.
Agencies in the UK, France, Europe and the Maghreb
The route changes with the pilgrim; the starting point and the end point are always the file.
Nationality, passport type, market: the appropriate route is suggested file by file, and you can change it.
For eligible pilgrims, the application is built from the data already entered; the status is tracked through to the visa.
For agencies that have the route, the file's information is reused, which limits re-entry; the status comes back into OmraDesk.
For the other files, a structured handover to your provider and progress tracking from OmraDesk.
Valid passport, compliant photo, complete information: the file is checked before it leaves for a route, not after a refusal.
The document obtained is filed with the pilgrim's other documents, ready for the departure paperwork.
Every visa retyped on a portal
The same information typed twice, with the risk of a mistake on a name or a date — and a visa to redo.
Tracking in a separate spreadsheet
The day before departure, nobody knows how many visas are missing, or which ones.
A photo rejected too late
The refusal arrives when there is no time left to retake the photo and resubmit.
It depends first on nationality and passport type: some nationalities are eligible for the eVisa, others go through the classic Umrah route. It then depends on your agency: if it has Nusuk or Masar access, that route can be used; otherwise, the file is handed over to your visa partner. OmraDesk suggests the appropriate route for each file, and you remain free to change it.
For agencies that have the Nusuk or Masar route, OmraDesk reuses the pilgrim file's information to limit re-entry, and the application status comes back into the file. The details of this route, its prerequisites and what remains in the agency's hands are described on the page dedicated to Nusuk Masar. We do not promise universal visa automation: routes change with nationalities and periods.
The list of pilgrims on a departure shows the route and the status of each application: to prepare, sent, pending, obtained, refused. You filter on blocked files, you see what is missing (photo, passport, information), and the adviser receives an alert when an application stops moving. The day before departure, you know exactly how many visas are still to be obtained.
OmraDesk checks the photo before the application is sent, against the portal's criteria (format, background, size), and flags what is wrong, to avoid a late refusal. A free photo checker, usable in the browser without an account, also lets the pilgrim or the adviser check and correct a photo before sending it to the agency.
In the pilgrim's file, with their other documents, from where it is picked up for the departure paperwork. Documents are served through links that expire after a few minutes, each agency is isolated in its own space, and every access is logged. Passport copies are deleted automatically six months after the return.
