UMRAH AGENCY MARKETPLACE
One agency has rooms and seats it will not sell; another has customers and no space left. The OmraDesk marketplace connects the two from inside your usual workspace: you offer what is left, you negotiate, and once both agencies agree the pilgrims move from one file to the other without being typed in again.
Agencies in the UK, France, Europe and the Maghreb
Two ways of working together: hand over a block after negotiating, or let other agencies sell your Umrah.
Rooms from an allotment, by room type — only the remaining triples when the doubles are full. Seats on a rotation or a charter series. A whole PNR, handed over as one block. Places on an Umrah. Ground transport.
It works the other way round too: you post what you are missing — twenty seats out of Paris, ten triple rooms for Ramadan — and the agencies holding that stock answer you.
Each listing is visible to every agency, to your partners only, or to agencies you name. A partner book is built by invitation, with a single-use link.
One thread per listing and per agency, one pending offer at a time. Making an offer counts as your own agreement: the other agency confirms it, never the same side twice. Confirmation freezes the price, currency, exchange rate and commission.
Once the deal is confirmed, pilgrims are copied file by file to the buying agency — once only, even if the transfer is resumed. Nobody retypes a passport that has already been captured.
In co-selling, several agencies sell the same Umrah in parallel, at the price you set, for a commission frozen when they join. Remaining places are counted in real time across all of them, and you see which agency registered which pilgrim.
Whatever you put up for sale leaves your internal availability the moment you publish: a database lock, not a display rule. Two agencies accepting the same place at the same instant are serialised, and the second one is refused.
Your listings can be gathered on a read-only page, reachable through a link you share with whoever you choose. It is not indexed by search engines.
Posted stock is already out of date
A place offered in a group has usually been sold in the meantime, and nobody deletes the message. You call about a room that stopped existing three days ago, and you start the whole round again at every departure.
Double selling really happens
The same room promised to two agencies, because nothing holds it during the conversation. It gets sorted out at hotel check-in — the worst possible place and moment.
Pilgrims are typed in by hand
Passports photographed, names copied from a screenshot, dates of birth approximated. Every re-entry adds its own mistakes, and the visa route is what reveals them, far too late.
Nobody knows who owes what
Commissions are worked out from memory at the end of the season, from messages scrolled back by hand. Disagreements are settled on each side's word rather than on a shared record.
Allotment rooms, by room type — you hand over only the triples if triples are all that is left. Seats on a rotation or a charter series. A complete PNR, transferred as one block rather than seat by seat. Places on an Umrah you organise. Ground transport, entered manually since it carries no stock to draw down. Every listing starts from your real stock: you pick the contract, allotment or flight concerned, and the quantity offered is capped by what is genuinely available at that moment.
The interested agency opens a thread on the listing. One side makes a priced offer — quantity and price — and the other confirms it: creating an offer counts as your own agreement, so nobody closes a deal alone. On confirmation the deal freezes the quantity, the price, the currency, the exchange rate applied and the commission, and the places leave the seller's stock. Pilgrims are then copied into the buyer's files. As long as that transfer has not started, the deal can still be cancelled.
It is your own offer, sold in parallel by several agencies at the price you set. You publish places with an imposed price and a commission; each agency that accepts becomes a distributor, with that commission frozen when it joins. When it registers a pilgrim, the client and the file are created on your side at the imposed price, and the remaining places are counted in real time across every distributor. You keep the list of who registered whom. An agreement can be revoked: that stops future sales, never the ones already closed.
You decide listing by listing: every agency on OmraDesk, only the agencies in your partner book, or a named list of agencies. An agency without access to a listing cannot tell it apart from a listing that does not exist — the answer is identical in both cases, so nothing leaks about your activity. Quote requests you send to your own suppliers follow a different logic: they are never visible to other agencies.
It is held. Published rooms or seats leave your internal availability as soon as the listing goes live, in the database rather than on screen: your team cannot sell directly a place already offered elsewhere. Pausing or closing a listing releases its stock. When the last place goes, the listing closes by itself, and a listing that reaches its end date expires automatically. That mechanism is what makes double selling impossible, including when two agencies accept at the same instant.
The commission is worked out when the deal is struck, following the rule on the listing — a fixed amount per person or a percentage of the price — and frozen as it stands: editing the listing later does not replay past deals. Every deal and every co-sold place carries its amount and its settlement state, which you mark as settled once the money has actually moved, with a free-text note. Settlements between agencies happen through your usual means: OmraDesk keeps the record, it does not collect on your behalf.
