Automatic allocation first places families together, then distributes the other pilgrims by gender into the available rooms of the right type, respecting the hotel's stock. Yes, entirely. The automatic proposal is a starting point: you move a pilgrim from one room to another, lock a room that must no longer change, add a room number or a floor. The tool flags inconsistencies (an overfilled room, unwanted mixing, a room type different from the one sold) without stopping you from deciding.
A couple or a family is declared at file level, with the link between the travellers. During allocation, these people are placed in the same room, or in neighbouring rooms when the size of the family exceeds the capacity of a single room. The men / women separation rule does not apply within a declared family.
Yes. The rooms available for allocation are those of your allotment contracts for that hotel and those dates: blocked, already sold, remaining. An allocated room counts as sold in the allotment tracking, which avoids placing more pilgrims than rooms booked — or leaving rooms empty without knowing it before the release date.
