The bus is waiting and someone is missing
The group is counted three times on a crumpled sheet. Who was there last night? Nobody remembers.
New · Umrah group leader app
Pilgrim roll call, pilgrim files, hotels, meeting points and travel documents. Even with no signal in Makkah. And the agency follows everything live, from OmraDesk.
During the trip
The group is counted three times on a crumpled sheet. Who was there last night? Nobody remembers.
Their phone number, room, health and family contact: all of it stayed behind at the agency.
The hotel is written in English and the driver reads Arabic. Someone scrolls the group chat looking for a screenshot.
The app, tab by tab
Present, absent, excused, found: one tap per pilgrim. Every roll call is dated and signed, with the time and place. Take as many as you need during the day, and nothing is ever erased.
Photo, room, family, health needs, reduced mobility, emergency contact. Passports and visas that expire before the return are flagged automatically. A problem? The group leader reports it from the file and the agency receives it.
The trip's hotels and meeting points on a map. A "Show the driver" button displays the address in large Arabic text. Directions open in the phone's maps app.
At a checkpoint, at the hotel or at the hospital, someone asks for a passport or a visa. The group leader opens it in two taps and shows it full screen, even offline. No more photocopies or screenshots lost in WhatsApp.
The programme, flight times that update on their own, the real weather in Makkah and Medina, and the useful numbers.
Late bus, room, luggage, health: for information, important or urgent, with a photo and the location. The agency is alerted straight away.
For the agency's management
Roll calls, absences and incidents arrive in OmraDesk, in the departure's "Field" feed and on the pilgrim's file. You can answer a family who calls without having to reach the group leader.
Pilgrim data
Before seeing a single pilgrim, the group leader signs a commitment. The agency sees the date it was signed.
What is kept for offline use is encrypted with the account password, and locks itself.
The agency removes a group leader whenever it wants. At the end of the trip, the data leaves the phone.
For the mutawwif, women's photos are blurred and passport numbers are hidden.
Getting started
From the package, with their name and phone number. A local guide is added the same way.
They create their account, sign the charter, and the departure is saved on their phone for offline use.
Roll calls, files, places, documents. You follow from the agency, departure by departure.
No. The space opens in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen, on iPhone and Android alike. Nothing to download from an app store.
Yes. The departure is kept on the phone. Roll call, files and documents stay available, and everything is sent to the agency as soon as the signal returns.
They create a free group leader account, separate from your team. They only see the departures you open to them, and you can remove their access at any time.
Yes, with adapted access: women's photos are blurred and passport numbers are not displayed.
Nothing extra: the group leader app is included in your OmraDesk plan, for all your departures and all your group leaders.
We'll show it to you on a real departure, in 20 minutes, by video call or on WhatsApp.
